Does Baptism Save You? The Truth from Scripture

The Greek word baptizo means “to immerse” — a symbolic act representing the believer's union with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. But baptism does not save. Salvation is by grace through faith alone. Baptism is a public testimony of a salvation already received, not a means of earning it.
