A Message from the Founder
For as long as I can remember, I've loved helping people understand the Bible.
Not just read it. Not just hear someone else talk about it. Understand it.
One of the things that has always burdened my heart is how many Christians genuinely love God but feel intimidated by His Word. They open their Bible and immediately run into unfamiliar names, difficult passages, historical details, theological concepts, or questions they don't know how to answer. Over time, many begin to believe that deep Bible study is reserved for pastors, professors, or seminary students.
I don't believe that's true.
I believe God gave His Word to His people.
I believe every Christian can grow in their understanding of Scripture. I believe ordinary believers can learn theology, understand context, recognize false teaching, and develop confidence in studying the Bible for themselves. And I believe the local church becomes stronger when every day Christians are equipped to know God's Word deeply.
That's why Bible 101 exists.
My vision is to remove as many barriers as possible between people and a deeper understanding of Scripture. I want to take concepts that often feel overwhelming and make them approachable without watering them down. I want to help someone who feels completely lost in Leviticus, Romans, or Revelation walk away saying, "I finally understand what's happening."
More than anything, I want people to see the beauty of God through His Word.
The goal of Bible 101 is not simply to give you more information. There are plenty of places online where you can find information. The goal is transformation. My hope is that every lesson, article, visual, and resource helps you love God more, trust Christ more deeply, and live more faithfully as His disciple.
Looking ahead, I dream of Bible 101 becoming a place where believers around the world can access high-quality biblical education regardless of their background, location, education level, or financial means. A place where a new believer, a busy parent, a college student, a pastor, and a lifelong Christian can all come to grow in their understanding of God's Word.
We are living in a generation with unprecedented access to technology. My prayer is that we would leverage that technology to create unprecedented access to biblical truth. Imagine millions of people learning Scripture not through shallow sound bites, but through thoughtful, faithful, engaging teaching that helps them see the grand story of redemption unfold from Genesis to Revelation.
If Bible 101 can help even one person open their Bible with greater confidence, understand God's character more clearly, or fall more deeply in love with Jesus Christ, then this work is worth it.
