Jesus is not merely a prophet or teacher — He is God in the flesh, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father. Yet He also became fully human, entering our world in flesh and blood. This dual nature is essential to the gospel: because He was fully man, He could die; because He was fully God and sinless, His death could atone for others.
